ADVERTISEMENT DESIGN INFORMATION
Most print publications will have their own specific design requirements so it is important that you obtain this information prior to any design going ahead.
You need to find out:
> What type of Computer Application Programs the publication accepts for design submissions, i.e Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, Quark Express....
> What type of files they accept for design submissions, i.e eps, ai, pdf, jpeg, tiff .............
> What print size your artwork is going to be, i.e 1/4 page, 1/2 page, Full page and what the actual print dimensions are of the advert.
> What the bleed and trim requirements are if any.
> What the minimum resolution requirement is for images contained within the submission.
> What the deadline is to submit your artwork is if you wish to be published in the next issue.
> Do they require a black and white proof to check dimensions?
> Do they require the fonts to be supplied?
> Do they require laser proofs to be submitted?
